The Pennyfarthing Hotel

Nice little hotel in a lovely little town. Huge portion of porridge too much for me but if you are a big eater you will love it. Chef cooks your breakfast as ordered which we like although porridge and eggs arrived at the same time. Woukd defo stay again.

Great hotel, have stayed here before and it is much improved. Great location.

Always good service at the Pennyfarthing. Rooms well equipped, showers really good, quality ingredients at breakfast. Grateful of aircon in the room (though a little noisy). Lovely quiet hotel neatly set back from the High Street. Convenient for the town with good restaurants within 2 minutes walk.

This place is difficult to find. It is not on the high street as the address would suggest but behind. I was walking the high street and called 4 times. No answer. Eventually, when I did find it, I asked the guy on reception if he had heard the phone. He said he did not. When getting bags from my car I rang again as a test. I watched as he sat there and still did not answer - I walked in with my phone and his phone ringing. Come on guys, you have a great little hotel but this was really poor. It was only 9.30 pm.
