Just stayed a night in what should have been a great experience but was unfortunately ruined by the complete incompetence of the hotels restaurants. Waited 50 minutes for breakfast which never arrived having waited 20 minutes in the restaurant the night before to even be asked if we like something to drink.
When my starter finally arrived which was tomato and buffalo mozzarella, the mozzarella was missing. When I raised this it was recified but the chef looked bemusec by my complaint even though he'd failed to plate 50% of the meal.
Breakfast room rumour was the main chef was off and someone was filling in. My advice would be check the kitchen roster before booking.
Such a shame as the hotel is stunning with topnotch rooms plus the bar staff were excellent!
