99 Voyage Patong

Very clean. Good size of bed and room. Friendly staffs. 15 min walk to Patong beach and fresh food market. Only downside is the noise since it is located on main street. Ask the rooms not on the front of the building and bring ear plugs.

The maid was usually on the third floor around 9:00 am, daily. The maid was friendly and quick at her work, which I appreciated. Outside the lobby, the rooms were advertised for walk-ins at 399 bahts. The coupons for the free, daily breakfast are given at the front desk. The front desk had no record of my free breakfasts being booked, so there was a dispute. I had to use my mobile device to prove my reservation was paid for. I got my paper coupons at once for Sam's restaurant, a few stores down, on the same street. The English breakfast was two pieces of toast, two eggs, two hot dogs and cole slaw. Condiments included butter and strawberry jam for toasts, sugar and Coffee Mate for Lipton tea or coffee. Definitely include a free breakfast for your stay and hopefully bring proof of prior payment to Patong. The massage in the room could cost 450 bahts, so I tried next door. Next door is a family-owned spa with three cousins apparently. Earn is the only masseuse who speaks English well. Party and Beam also do hourly oil massages for 350 bahts. Pretty Earn might have saved me 100 bahts, compared to 99 Voyage Place. Excellent value at 99 Voyage Place, so I recommend staying here.

It was okay for the price. Big and clean rooms. It was about 15 minutes walking to the main street.

Very horrible people employed by the property. Rude, impatient and lack courtesy. When i checked in the room floor had not been swept. There were lots of hair.. I left the MAKE UP ROOM sign on the second day. Left the room at 10 am. Returned at 2.30 pm and the room wasn't made up. The housekeeping crew were on the floor, so I asked them to clean. They rudely told me that they go off dirty at 3 and that it was too late. I told them that the sign was clearly hanging on my door h but they said they didn't see(?????). I forced them to clean n they agreed n I was standing outside when they did. They just picked up the duvet n the bedsheet, threw them on the floor.. Dusted the bed (perfunctorily)... N picked up the same bedsheet from the floor n just threw them ON the bed (did NOT TUCK IN THE SHEETS). Then threw the duvet the same way. They then left the room. There are lots of hotels in the area. I suggest NEVER TO CHOOSE THIS ONE.

A very clean hotel. Decent wifi. Friendly staff lady at desk. A little out of the way location.
