The apt and building were modern, clean, and in great condition. The staff were nice and there were nearby mini markets and street vendors selling jewelry, produce, clothing, etc.
However, the surrounding buildings were run down and graffiti was everywhere & a few drivers told me to be careful walking around.
Therefore, I was upset that I paid a lot of money for a 2 week stay to live in a questionable neighborhood.
When you are booking places to live in a foreign country, it's difficult to ascertain what kind of neighborhood you are going to be in.
