Not our first visit to this hotel. It is in a great location and overall a great hotel. On this visit we noticed a general deterioration in the property. Worn metal on taps in bathroom, marks on carpets. Not major. Breakfast was a big disappointment though. Limited choice. Not cooked to a good standard. Processed bread. Nothing that said fresh and healthy

My stay last time was great this time there was different staff on reception he seemed to be quite miserable our room was clean but the bed was so uncomfortable I won’t be returning when we left on the day staff on reception were really cheerful I remember the staff member from the last stay tall black man always smiling and happy greeting us with a Good Morning the cleaner was also cheerful and happy

The bedroom and bathroom were good but there were no toiletries in the bathroom.I asked about this and after two days a few turned up. The breakfast was disappointing, very little fruit and no cooked tomatoes. Only fried eggs which had been there for some time. A long wait for a snack in the bar one evening. We have stayed at the hotel many times and it had always been better.
