The Waterloo Bay Hotel

The waterloo is a wonderful place to stay. Staff are always friendly and resolve to go that little bit extra. I do enjoy staying there

It was good, reception were nice, hotel had good food. Better than expected for the price of $110 a night,

Was meant to have internet free lucky to get one bar only free to air tv could not watch movie hard lumpy bed pillows no good

There are basically 3 different types of accommodation. The 'budget' option (approx $99) has parking outside the door and is on ground level which will suit most people. For both the 'superior' ($120) and 'apartment' ($130) - 2 completely different buildings to the 'budget', you don't get parking outside your door, you have to park in the main pub car park area, not quite so secure or convenient... The only drawback to 'budget' is that they have old-fashioned "wall-rattler" air conditioners. Staying in winter meant it wasn't really a problem, as in the 'budget' rooms they have lovely french doors that open onto a semi-private lawn area. But the old air cons are VERY noisy. The 'superior' rooms and 'apartment' rooms have proper split-system air cons. I would probably stay in them in summer if you want a good night's sleep! (The 'superior' rooms are identical in layout to the 'budget', except for better air con).

Overall great all round hotel and a fabulous restaurant.

Quiet location, easy access to the pub . Handy to lical places.

I didnt like shared bathroom. Think its dangerous especially if men are drunk and stay overnight at the hotel. There were tissues in the room. Would like fly screens and curtains would look nicer. I enjoyed the queen size bed, high ceilings, aircon and wall mounted tv. The fan made a bit of noise turned on. The staff I found very professional, prompt, welcoming, friendly and very helpful and courteous.
