Good
Everything was ok, but there was some misinformation on check-in regarding balcony access. Also, there seems to be payment issues for foreigners (which I have not experienced elsewhere)... Other than that, all was ok. I'd say again if the need arises.

Great place
It was (is) great. They were very helpful during the russian missile strikes by providing a shelter close by. The staff speak some english but will always use a translation app to communicate. The hotels restaurant is very upscale but very affordable. You can get a wonderful meal for less than 10 dollars(canadian)

Nice place! Can't complain
Good stay overall. The rooms were a little small and so were the beds, but its totally do-able. Bathroom/shower was clean, room was clean, convenient parking and the next door restaurant was super fancy and tasty! Highly recommend it. Also its awesome that there was a park with a trial right next to the hotel.

Great Value
I stayed in standard single with private bath. The room and hotel in general were very clean. There was no hair dryer, but there was a tea kettle, mug and tea. WiFi was excellent. My only complaints are that there was no lamp on my bed table and the electrical outlet for my computer was not in a convenient place. I would stay here again.

Horribly prepped food, per picture...it was supposed to be a “Greek Salad”. Thin walls, you can hear people snoring. Strangers at the entrance, whistling at women. It took at least 25 minutes to check out, which was done with a security guard. No phone in the room, no elevator. Food and drink prices keep changing, depending on who you ask or the menu you’re looking at.

5 stories high
Booking this room was a great choice. I had the cutest single room that reminded me of the Zepher car that I slept in on the train. There was a restaurant on the 2nd floor open 7-2300/room service. Great food, local shopping nearby, and a really nice park next to the hotel where I took my WOK take-out, my EReader, blanket and relaxed under the trees. Clean, comfortable and nice people

4/10 Fair

Located in a hard core residential area, this is for the person who has a car with them to get to sites and restaurants. There is no lift forcing people to use one of 3 sets of stairs to get to their room. The room was very small but did include a desk and chair to work on a lap top. The Staff speaks not so good English and finding one that can speak good English is a challenge. The restaurant prepares simple food that is cheap. You will not go hungry or go broke either.

Stay away!
Really a bad experience. Rooms uncomfortable with rock hard beds. Staff is ambivalent. Nothing in walking distance besides a super market. Really disappointed. Don't understand how this place stays open.

A little too far out of the way.
This is a very small hotel in an area of Kiev where there is nothing around. The metro is at least a mile away and there are no restaurants or anything within walking distance. You either need to have a car or use Uber to do anything in the city itself. Über one way is around $4 so it is not expensive, but it does add up quickly. Very little of the staff speaks any English at all so if you are going to stay, make sure you download Google translator. You are definitely going to need it. The people that stay at this particular hotel like to have their car alarms go off during all times of the day and night and argue outside the hotel at 3 am. It’s like living in New York but with trees!
