All the time, space and comfort I needed

This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! The hut was perfect, the bed extremely comfortable with high-quality linens and duvet/pillows. Kitchen very well-supplied with everything I needed (and more). The bathroom was great too, shower a little on the less-powerful side, but I expected that seeing as I was in a small hut and not a house. The internet service was reliable. I used the swimming pond, which was blissful and such a good size - cold to get into, but very easy to stay a long time once you're in. The location is peaceful and very green. (It's on a flightpath, which didn't bother me, I enjoyed seeing the planes going over every now and then.) I went on a nice walk on footpaths leading out of the estate and back through the village where I stopped at the pub for a drink on the way. Just wonderful. I will 100% come back here for some peace and some time to myself.
