Great location

Nice cozy little hotel that is very convenient to restaurants, the Red Hook ferry, and beach taxis. No need to rent a car if you are staying here. Not very fancy, but we didn't go to St. John to sit in our room! Some colorful characters pass by, as might be expected in the Islands ... from the guys selling weed on the corner to the old man dancing to who-knows-what tune in his head. Fun watching the chickens strut around town. Make sure to book restaurants well in advance if you want to eat before 9 PM.

Amenities good but rooms are tiny for the price and interior of rooms need to be redone by a professional to fix the walls and woodwork and painted.

Having rated hotels and restaurants for over 22 years for AAA tourbook, I liked this place. The location is great, 2 blocks from the ferry. The owners Dave and Denise are hard working, gracious and informative. Our room was not big, but it had all we needed. It had a free continental breakfast every morning. Sitting out on the patio day or night was nice too. We would go back to Cruz Bay Boutique Hotel. Bill and Carole V

Great landing zone

The owners are friendly and accommodating. Cute place in the middle of everything in Cruz Bay. Late night "rap" music from cars cruzing the block take away some of the charm....

My husband and I chose Cruz Bay Boutique Hotel based on location and reviews. The hotel did not disappoint. Denise and David are amazing. They provide a personal touch, something you don’t always get at a hotel. The location is great we walked to everything in Cruz Bay, leveraged the bus and taxis for other parts of the island. The hotel was clean and quaint. We will definitely stay here again during our next trip to St John.

Cute hotel with a good location close to the ferry dock. Adorable patio where we enjoyed our light complimentary breakfast. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was nice. One big issue: shower was very small and shower head was not adjustable. The only way you could shower was with the water blasting you in the face. Not good. Suggestions: It would be nice if there was a place to rinse the sand off your feet before entering your room. Also, more hooks and shelves would be good for storing your belongings.

The staff was amazing. They were helpful with what info on the island. Our Room was clean and housekeeping straighten our room daily. Perfect walking distance from food, shopping, and one of the beaches. Thank you for your hospitality!!!

Highly recommend a stay here. Gracious hosts with a lot of local knowledge. Friendly and clean setting. One night there was a problem with the lock on my door and Dave fixed it in a few minutes. I will be returning!
