Great views and convenient access
Hotel Continental has wonderful views of Etna, the sea, and Taormina from the terrace and the dining room. It is also (relatively) easy to access in a car compared to many options in town, but also only a short walk to the Main Street. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our flight from the states to Italy was delayed, resulting in our flight to Sicily being delayed, but despite arriving at the hotel after 10:30 pm, we were warmly greeted and promptly checked into our rooms. Excellent service during our stay. Only comment would be that with anywhere you are staying in Taormina, there is HIGHLY limited parking, so do not plan to park at the hotel, but park at the parking ramp on the way into town and walk to the hotel (does involve taking stairs).

Perfect Location and access to the heart of the village, supper friendly and helpful staff, amazing roof top restaurant with beautiful view and very good breakfast baffle. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Everything we needed for one night stay in Taormina was available and has potential for longer stay. Definitely I recommend this hotel if you want to stay in the village. They provide valet parking with very reasonable cost. They helped us with reservation for Gambini Vini with very short notice that we really appreciated that.

Frozen in the 80s
The hotel rooms need renovation only the bathtooms were upgraded. Location is good but not easy to get to with a big car. Luckily they provide valet service. Staff was kind and helpful though I did not understand why hotel insisted to get my credit card information ober the phone(which is not a secure transaction) eventhough we chose to pay the property. Breakfast is 15 EUR (discounted!) and we opted to have it outside were there are much better options (granita) in the town center for cheaper. Rooms were very small we struggled to place our big luggages as a couple.
