Tika Wasi Casa Boutique - Cusco

Nice n cozy hotel. Close to everything yet quiet for the night sleep. The only concern was the bathroom drainage didn't seem to work the best. Overall enjoyed the stay.

This hotel in Cusco was located in the perfect spot. It was up a steep hill like the streets of San Francisco but it was in walking distance to the main Plaza, museums, reasturants, tons of shopping. We didn't have to take a taxi that day to get around and that was really nice. The hotel was clean, friendly, helpful, safe and very nice. Thank you

We loved this place! The staff was efficient and very courteous. The hostal is beautiful - seemed like an old house converted into a bed and breakfast. Its located away from the main streets but a short walk to a lot of nice restaurants as well as the main square. They also serve up a great hot breakfast. It was a great place for us to rest up before we started the second part of our journey.

We stayed four nights in the Tika Wasi, and it came to feel like home in a totally strange city. To begin with, all the staff went above and beyond to anticipate our needs. They kindly weighed our duffels for us (twice:) before we hiked the Inca Trail. They also safely stored our luggage for us while we trekked. Our room (#22) was the only one on the top floor, and it was quiet, comfortable, charming and had stunning views of Cusco. And, considering some of the other showers we have encountered in South America, the shower was exceptional--clean, roomy, and all the hot water you could want. There are a number of attractive common areas, some with views. The Wi Fi in the lobby works fine, if you have your own device. The garden is beautiful and relaxing. And the breakfast was plentiful, healthful and delicious. Again, considering the common practice of having instant coffee in South America, we were delighted to find real coffee (and hot milk, if you like). The Tika Wasi is located in an ancient and fascinating part of the city. It is also safe there, and we had no problem walking everywhere we wanted to go. If we return to Cusco we will definitely stay again at the Tika Wasi, and feel like we are returning home. PS For an extra $10 a night you can get a larger room with a great view.
