Great Value and Fernie Base The rooms are comfortable, the staff are genuinely friendly, and the location makes it incredibly easy to get around Fernie. Sometimes you’re really just looking for a clean, comfortable bed for a night or two. Hotels have become so expensive that it can be hard to justify spending a fortune when you’re going to be outside enjoying everything Fernie has to offer most of the day anyway. This place gets that balance right. It’s affordable, convenient, comfortable, and has everything you need for a short stay. If you’re looking for a practical home base while hiking, biking, exploring or simply enjoying Fernie, this is a great option. We’d happily stay here again.

The rooms here were quite well maintained. Nice central location to downtown, and hiking trails. The surrounding views were beautiful. Great place to stay great price. Friendly staff. The continental breakfast was okay but it would have been nice to have some hot food like scrambled eggs added to the breakfast layout, but that isn't a big deal.
