2.5-3 stars - fine for a one night short stay
Good but could have been better. Had to ask staff to turn the heating on (in February) and water was cold throughout. rooms were clean but the bedside lamps did not work (just there for decor?) which was annoying as I was suffering with a migraine and wanted the top lights off as they were far too bright. Our room was on the ground floor which was good for access, however, the doors are not soundproof and we could hear if anyone was outside in the hallway/reception area talking. The continental breakfast was standard but they did not offer/accommodate our gluten free request on the grounds that they don’t cater to allergies? This was confusing, as a business I would expect some catering to allergies/intolerances/dietary preferences. Oddly we were also asked to not eat in our rooms if we ordered takeout but to eat it in the breakfast area - which just seemed weird and unnecessary as we were an all adult group. Tea and coffee was not available in the room but from the breakfast area - and this we could take into our room (which confused us even more). Overall it was okay for a one night stay as we were attending an event nearby.

The couple who ran the hotel was very nice. They had our room ready and seemed to be expecting us. He gave me a nice tour of the grounds. Super cool simple style to the rooms. Perfect stay for a night in London.

We booked at the last minute, the staff were warm and welcoming. The room was just what we needed as we arrived late, no problems and well stocked. Everything was clean ans comfortable. We had an adequate breakfast which catered for all. Then we relaxed in the garden with coffee before leaving.

Great overnight stop
Stayed here to be close to Heathrow for an early morning flight (10 minute drive). 4th time staying here. Basic but clean and quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful and unlike the big chains the parking is free. Will undoubtedly be back again.

Best was that there was free parking onsite - massive PLUS. The duvet cover , bedsheets while clean were a little old and worn. The room was small for a double , luckily I was on my own. With a partner , it would have been a little cramped. The staff were wonderful - I missed breakfast (my fault) , however I was served a nice hot coffee and a croissant.
