This was the perfect selection. We had a wonderful time! If I had known ahead, I would have booked all my time in Edinburgh here. it was a bit more money than the Scott but it was WELL worth it!!! I liked it MUCH better.

Exceeded our expectations

Superbly presented hotel with lots of lovely touches to show the proprietors care about their guests. No lift means its not for everyone but I will choose it again next time I stay in the city.

Short break

We stayed two nights to attend a wedding, so unfortunately we did not have time to use tge delightful garden. The breakfast as lovely and the staff could not be more helpful. It’s a lovely old building so expect steep climb to top floor.
Moira, 2-night trip

Great stay very friendly lovely hotel.

8/10 Very good

Very Nice

We did not take advantage of food options. Bed was good +. Top floor room was a hike with luggage, not so bad without luggage. Room was warm during the unusual warm and sunny Edinburgh weather and nice cooling fans were provided to help cool things off.
James, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

We got a room on the top floor with gable windows. The room was very clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly. It's walkable to the Royal Mile and other attractions, but a longer walk (approximately a mile).
Mariam, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

We chose to stay here due to the close proximity to the Playhouse as we were going to see a show. Easy distance from the train station too. Much lovelier experience than staying in a generic hotel room. Had everything we needed. We had a cup of tea in the garden in the sunshine in the morning before we left. We had a lovely stay.

Beautiful boutique hotel

Beautiful boutique hotel. A perfect stay in one of the Georgian Suites. Lovely comfortable bed and delicious breakfast.
1-night trip

8/10 Very good

We stayed 1 night for a theater visit, which was a perfect walking distance from the hotel to the theater. The room was lovely! It was huge, plenty of space, mini fridge, The welcome gifts were a nice touch as well. We stayed on the lower ground floor and had a look into the garden as well. If we were staying longer we would have definitely used the gardens to have drinks at night. We've definitely found a new favourite hotel in Edinburgh and cant wait to come back
Kayleigh, 1-night trip

Lovely stay. Very stylish interiors. Staff were fantastic. Could have done more to make our stay more enjoyable. The restaurant was closed on the night of our stay but breakfast was superb.
David, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Lovely stay, room was nice and comfortable only issue was room was hot but there was a fan so didn’t spoil our stay, very nice little hamper which had crisps and biscuits in it and bottle off water, lovely breakfast as well, was on second floor which was a bit off a struggle because no lift, that’s why took point off, receptionist was really lovely and helpful, would recommend no 11 for stay ,very close to Playhouse
Judith, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

We stayed in an executive double room which was lovely and spacious. Excellent location for Edinburgh playhouse and city centre. Located in a nice quiet street. Bed was really comfy. Staff were attentive. Would highly recommend.
Mary, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

No air conditioning. Have to walk up three flights of stairs to get to your room. We had the largest suite, but it’s still needed updating. Parking lot was over five minutes away. For $450 a night you can do much better .
