Hotel San Jorge

This is my third time staying at Hotel San Jorge as it is my preferred hotel when I travel to Tepic. My previous trips have been without issue, but this time around my stay started a little rough. The first room I was given didn't have a working A/C unit (much needed to survive the 90F weather/humidity during the summer), but the staff were very accommodating and moved me to another room. Unfortunately I didn't have internet access for 2 days in the new room because the WiFi signal wouldn't reach the area. But once again the staff were accommodating and I was moved to third room that went without issue for the remainder of the trip. PROS: great rates, clean rooms, very polite & accommodating staff, great amenities like toiletries and bottled water, great location. CONS: rooms need some minor work or upgrades (shower door wouldn't close all the way in our last room, toilet leaking from the bottom in the second room), limited WiFi access depending on where your room is located. Overall I would continue to recommend San Jorge and I had a pleasant stay despite the small hiccups. For the amenities, location, and service it offers, the price is really hard to beat. The neighborhood location is not the greatest

Good location, quiet room, hot water. Secure parking with video surveillance.

Clean hotel & friendly staff. 2 things one must know about. Around 6 a.m,the traffic starts & the noise of the buses will get you up. Also, the A/C has to be replaced by a new one..The humidity very high and the a/c unit providing very slow air flow was not good enough to feel the a/c.
