The Victoria Falls Deluxe Suites

The hotel was great, good condition and the amenities are modern. Service at the front desk was fantastic and they make you feel very welcome. However, the service for meals (aside from the free breakfast, which was great), left something to be desired. We had two burgers which were pretty ordinary that cost $15 USD each. The hotel is located a fair walk from town so the only option if you’re stuck without dinner is to order there. The room service was slow and by the time we got our food it was cold. Overall, the hotel was good, but perhaps a bit overpriced. The meal service is pretty lacklustre.

Our hotel room was wonderful! Had AC (important thing in 90+ degree heat) and was very clean with all the amenities. Lionel was amazing throughout our stay with helping us get rides, giving a tour of the hotel, and just being a smiling friendly face. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Approx 5 minutes drive from town, but they offer a shuttle service twice daily. The rooms were very large and comfortable and had a restaurant on site. A boutique hotel with friendly and attentive staff.

Large suites set in pleasant gardens. All suites have patios overlooking part of the gardens. Separate bathroom facilities plus walk in wardrobe adds to the spaciousness of the sleeping area.

Nice quiet property, bus twice a day into town, Staff were very good and attentive. Good meals, good amenities.

Went to see Victoria Falls, and stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Big Mistake! Staff were nice and friendly so no real issue there. Taken to room and although it was a very spacious room (deluxe room booked) it was very dated and needed some attention in my view. One of the curtains wouldn’t open as it was attached to the net curtain rail behind it as the main rail was broken where it meets in the centre. We had a patio which we couldn’t use as the patio door was too stiff to open. Shower was large but when I went to use it at first I lifted the knob up to open water supply and it fell off in my hand. Managed to put back in and use. Some towels has small holes in them. Lost power for about 45 mins. Woke up in middle of night at 3am to find that the entire lights in the room had come on? Assume there was a power surge. Only food really was burger or toasted sandwich and chips. No steak , and second night no cream caramel available Not Al a Carte as it says on brochure. Certainly NOT 5 Star rating it has there. Breakfast was limited and slow. Egg and toast is 1 slice of toast. So definitely not recommend. Very disappointed to be honest. We paid almost £200 per night and I’m in Johannesburg now in Radisson Blufor less than that and it’s much better. Unhappy customer 😡😡😡

After reading some negative reviews on TripAvisor, I was a bit apprehensive, but I took a chance and I was not disappointed. From the minute we walked in Nelly greeted us with a gorgeous smile, and we were sold! She was a Godsend and made sure we were well looked after, helped us plan our itenary in Vic Falls. The rest of the staff were brilliant also! The rooms were clean, fresh and very comfortable. I slept sweet! Only thing I would say is that the hotel could do with a few more pool loungers, but apart from that, really brilliant stay in Vic Falls. Would stay there again!
