A self service apartment hotel, so there is literally no service expectation. Have to clean up by throwing own rubbish after stay. Location wise is perfect as it is close to all amenities and transport. Big room and most important is the shower stays hot throughout bathe time. Not even some 5 star hotels can have this consistency.

My stay in Second Home Apartments was great, my friend and I were both extremely happy with everything the room had to offer. The location was ideal for our stay with quick access to the subway and even a short walk to the Ferry in Gamla Stan. For eating and drinks the Sodermalm offered plenty of options, many within a 10-15 walk. The room itself was small as expected for a European room but never felt cramped. The bathroom and kitchenette were clean and modern and the beds were very comfortable. We both slept very well during our stay. Check in and check out were easy, I really enjoyed just receiving a code rather than waiting at a busy front desk.

This is a nice little spot that's both in a good location but a little hidden and out-of-the-way. I could easily walk to many places. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. It's very minimalist which I liked, but still a cute room. It's definitely not a hotel, it's basically a studio apartment. My only complaint is that getting into the building was an unpleasant hassle. I didn't realize until I got there that I needed a code to get in, so I stood outside while on hold, being very tired and cold and using 25 cents a minute on my cell phone. They came back and gave me a code, and I stupidly didn't try it while on the phone, but it didn't work. I called back, got a different person, and it turned out that the code I was given was just for my room, but not to actually get into the building. I spent more time on hold until I was given the code to the building, which I immediately tried and it didn't work. After several attempts I went on hold AGAIN and several minutes later they came back and laughingly said "oh they changed the code and didn't tell us!" I finally got the correct code and got into the building and my room before I hung up the phone. The person said also said that they didn't email me the codes because I booked through Hotels.com instead of directly through them, but it seems like they should have that issue worked out.

Second home apartments were very close to Old Town (Gamla Stan) so the location was excellent! There was a laundry room and our room on the ground floor had a small kitchenette if you prefer to cook for yourself. Bed was super comfortable. Bathroom was tight for space but functional.

The property was in a good location and exactly as expected.

This was an amazing place to stay - although you don’t meet the reception team and bookings team they make life very easy for you! I stayed in room 45 which was more than I expected and was very pleasantly surprised. Will be booking again for Christmas!

Excellent location, only minutes from Slussen metro station. Check-in instructions were clear and the process was straightforward. The studio apt. was clean and had pretty much everything we required. A few minor improvements would have made for a better experience: a couple of lights in the room didn't work (bulbs burnt out) and a coffee-maker would be a big convenience.

We love the location of this property which is close to Gamla Stan (Old Town), metro stop Slussen and ferry stop Slussen. The room is spacious and cheerful. We wish Second Home could provide a dishwasher and more pots and pans. The ground floor suites facing the sidewalk could get noisy sometimes especially late night and early morning. We will definitely request suites facing the courtyard in our future stay.

Location was difficult to find. Further, the television only had about 35% of channels working. Most of the ones not working were “were weak or no signal”.
