Wonderful place to stay!
Wonderful place to stay! The staff are amazing, nothing was too much effort! Great to have free parking in town & gym access, although the coastal walk is beautiful I did that instead. Supermarkets in walking distance. Restaurants a few steps left and right of front door. Thank you for your fabulous service, will definitely stay again!

Super central location . Our room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was light, airy and clean. There's no staffed reception but we didn't need it. Checkin/checkout was a breeze. The guest lounge and free parking plus Tesla destination charger were the cream on the cake for us.

The State Hotel is in such a handy location in the middle of town. Off street parking is a must in the CBD and Joe's Garage underneath for a great breakfast. It has been restored beautifully with a modern touch on old world luxury. Luke was a great host both greeting on arrival and farewelling on departure. I would definitely stay again.
