Spa and hot tub closed
We chose to stay at Sandia for access to the pool, hot tub and spa. The spa was closed on Monday and had very little availability on the weekend. I wanted to give my children a spa treatment as a Christmas present and nothing was available so we had to go to another spa for services. And the outdoor hot tub was under repair? We were told? We did spend time at the rooftop bar and listened to a great jazz band, but it was too bad that there was no one there to enjoy it. And the downstairs band on the Saturday night before Christmas was not good and that was unfortunate because I love spending time dancing in that venue. Again, we had to go somewhere else for nighttime entertainment. The gym was really minimal and disappointing as well.

Nice But….
Checkin is inconvenient. There is limited room to park and offload your luggage if you choose not to Valet. Valet was shut down from 4AM to 8AM and we had to depart during that time. Parking was 100 yards plus away. The hot water was non existent for the first 10 minutes the shower ran.

Horrible Casino Hotel and res app too
I had a family emergency and missed my flight to handle it. I was met with off putting attitudes and a complete lack of empathy. Both Hotels dot com and Sandia resort were short and flippant and just plain rude. Will not be using either service again, these are places that care so little about the customers that you should reconsider too and go with businesses that care about your travel experience.
