Great spot right in the middle of town!

Disappointed with the lack of standard necessities. Eg plates, cutlery, microwave etc. enough milk for two drinks, tiny tiny plastic spoons. Disappointed that breakfast was listed but would not available. Restaurant closed which we expected under the present circumstances. The Manager didn’t appear to be really concerned.

Stained wet carpet, no soap...could hear the bathroom noises of next door guests, genrally seemed a bit run down and shabby

Lovely Weekend Away!

Once again my husband and I chose to stay at The Banjo Paterson Motor Inn. The room was clean and in walking distance to everything!

Tried to cancel because of SES advice not to travel because of bushfires. Hotel refused to refund. Not good enough. Hotels.com offered no help at all.

Absolutely awful! Avoid at all cost!

Our visit here was absolutely awful! We arrived to be greeted by a miserable, unfriendly man who made us feel like we were a nuisance. He complained that I’d given an incorrect mobile number simply because I hadn’t given the country code. We were sent alone to find our room and we were shocked at what we found. The room was dark and dingy and filthy. Cobwebs with dead flies hung from the ceiling like hammocks from three of the four corners of the room. The shower was grimy and outdated and I decided I’d venture in wearing flip flops on my feet; however; it wasn’t possible to shower as the head just sent the water trickling right down the tiles. It wasn’t the owners fault that we experienced gale force winds but it is his fault that the wind howled through the gap all around our door that led to the outside. The gap at the bottom would welcome not only wind, but indeed anything else that wished to come in. All night we were kept awake by howling wind, a creaking roof and a palm tree pounding the windows. The pillow cases were clean but they smelled dreadful and I assume the pillows themselves must be extremely old and well used. We decided to leave at 5am as we couldn’t bare it any longer. I know the room didn’t cost the earth, but it honestly wasn’t worth it even for free!
