Great hotels. First hotel chain I check when I go anywhere in Japan. This one was no different.

Good location. Rooms good size for one person. Surprised there was no heating. Had to ask for extra blankets.

Nice and clean.

A great price. Perfect location. No hearing in room which was a surprise for Aomori. Had to get an extra blanket. Cold in the morning. Nov 1st is probably the “set date” that they decide to turn the heating on. :-)

The room was good. Small and comfortable. Location is decent with a few places to eat, a few convenience stores, and the tourist information center all within walking distance. The one problem I had was with the parking. Paying doesn't guarantee you a spot, it just allows you to have one. It's possible to pay for parking and then not be able to park. Other than that, the stay was good.

Restful

The view was fantastic, overlooking the local shrine. The bed was divinely comfortable with great pillowy bedding and good support. The staff were happy to talk to me and keep me informed about stowing my bags until check-in, bus stops/shuttle times, and local food. It was a great stay in an underrated, sleepy town.

It works

Room was clean and breakfast buffet was quute good. Took me an embarrasing amount of time to fogure out the key and power system. Location was a little difficult to get to from JR station. Otherwise it was a great stay at a reasonable price

Stay for a night

It was a good and comfortable stay, though they can be more flexible on the check out time as they kept emphasing on the late check out time which resulted in extra charges.

This is one of the older business class hotels. But it has had some face lifting and isn’t as tired looking as others I stayed in on this trip. Good value and well situated in downtown. A mere 15 minute walk from train. Staff were very helpful even with the language barriers common to Japan. Lovely town!

Check in was simple and easy. Room was clean, pretty compact, efficiently laid out with no drawer or shelf storage for clothes. Bathroom was well supplied but small and the shower had a mind of its own. Hotel location was good for the Nebuta and the central activities. A short walk from the main train station.

Not too bad but bad smell in the elevators

To be fair the hotel is okay given that it doesn't charge a lot. The staff was all very friendly and willing to help. The breakfast buffet was awesome - a good choice of mainly Japanese dishes. The problems was mostly infrastructural. The elevators smelled terrible. Maybe it's because they open on smoking floors or people just don't care and smoke in them. The bedding was clean but not in a good condition - it didn't feel flat and inclined toward one side. You cannot adjust the temperature of the air conditioning. You can only choose different volume of air or turn it off entirely. Overall if you're looking for a budget hotel this is still a not bad choice given that newer and more pricey hotels are abundant in this area. This hotel is only a few blocks from the train station and it was a way walk.
