Lava Hot Springs KOA

Wasn't sure what to expect, but booked a deluxe cabin and was pleasantly surprised. The cabin was extremely clean, well appointed and much nicer than some hotel rooms in the area. Outside balcony has a fire pit and BBQ with an overlook of the river. The cabin was quiet and relaxing. Will be back soon!

Getaway

Amazing little getaway with the wife. We got a cabin and it was perfect. Right next to the river and even had a little fire pit. Jim was amazing at the front office and I will be back for sure. Thanks!

Pretty good!!

Overall, very nice. A bit over-priced, I think, but it was very nice to have a private little cabin and not have to worry about people above or below. It was a bit hinky trying to figure out where to check in and that wasn’t exactly convenient, but a very small price to pay for a very nice night.

It was roomier than expected. The view out the back door/porch was really pretty. It was quiet and parking was right by the front door. We stayed here for a track meet in Pocatello and it was an easy ride back and forth and super nice to come home to every night. The office was very accomodating with our late arrival and even sent my lost shoe back to me, free of charge. That was soooo kind.

Highly recommend

We stayed the night to enjoy the hot springs in the area. The cabin was easy to find and beautiful. The room was clean and new, perfect for a couple or parents with a smaller child. We had our grown kids and granddaughter come by and visit for dinner. The space was accommodating but cramped. We were happy to see there was a gas fire pit and BBQ one could use when there wasn’t a ton of snow on the ground. I would say it would be nice to have access to a shovel so we could clear our own path to the car as opposed to having to “break trail” after the 4” of fresh snow. I would stay here again, I would recommend the location.

They made this so easy and relaxing. If you're going to stay in lava I highly recommend a deluxe cabin, though I'm sure their other accommodations are also excellent.
