Sewage smell in rooms, KIP refused to fix it
we needed a room with four beds, so we chose KIP for the location and decent pricing. Upon entering our room, which was clearly freshly-cleaned, we noticed a sewage smell emanating from the sink and toilet. This was extremely off-putting and they had sprayed a lot of product to cover it, but it still pervaded the whole room. We immediately went to the desk to request a room change, but were told that we would have to pay nearly double to change rooms and that they would not do anything at all to remedy the situation. We chose to stay because our budget didn't have room to double the hotel expense. It was genuinely unpleasant to be in the room and we stayed out as much as possible. I will never book at KIP again and am warning others to avoid booking with them as well. It is wild to me to pay for a hotel room and be told that I MUST accept the smell of human waste in my room or pay double.
