The Fountain Vacation Rentals

The owners did a nice job giving the place an upscale look. We were comfortable even though it would've been nicer if the seating and bed had been normal height instead of closer to the floor than usual. The location was also amazing! The unit was clean and fairly well appointed. On the negative side, the amenities were stingy compared to our experiences at apartments throughout the world. Only 1 laundry pod was provided yet the washer/dryer cannot handle more than 2 beach towels in a load! Two of the tiniest soaps I have ever seen were provided and only one trash bag and one dishwasher pod. Really! Something was sent out at some point after renting the unit that we would be started on amenities but if they want to call themselves a hotel, they should provide adequate amenities for a stay. We had flown in and flew out and didn't want to have to travel with those "amenities" and shouldn't have had to travel with them. The total cost for providing 5 laundry pods (to make up for the small size of the units), 3 trash bags, 2 dishwasher pods, and decent-sized soap along with a small shampoo and conditioner (in case they were packed to get one started) would cost less than $5 but would've made a GREAT impression instead of feeling nickeled and dimed! There were only 4 spoons anyway so we washed all dishes by hand since only one pod was provided and carried our trash out each day in smaller grocery bags. It was annoying to work around stinginess.

We are 2 adults with a 2-year-old child, spent 5 nights at this place. The self-service check-in / check-out was very easy. The place is quiet, clean and comfortable, with a kitchen and a large refrigerator. Great location, only a short walk to the beach, supermarkets, restaurants nearby (check out Oh Ceviche for lunch), easy airport access (can't beat the $2 express bus). Beautiful garden area, and a nice clean 3-foot-deep pool, perfect for kids. A beach chair, umbrellas and beach towels were provided. We stayed in South Beach a few times before, and this place by far is the best for the value. Would have loved to stay longer, oh maybe next time.

Absolutely love this place, it was our 2nd time there and we hope to come back soon. The place is in excellent condition and it is great for having a quiet place yet still in South Beach walking distance to all the restaurants and beach.

Great location and really well-equipped place to stay with lovely bedding and great facilities. The bed was extremely comfortable and we appreciated the beach chairs and the good shower and WiFi. Check in was easy and communication before our stay was great. Would definitely recommend this place and will stay again!

Great, quiet location. Clean, well- kept property. The only down side is that it's not a hotel. If you are ok without someone on call or flexible check-in and checkout times, this is for you.

The room was exactly how It was advertised. There was no problems and very clean. We had all the amenities that we needed. Only had to call the owner once and that was because I couldn’t find the garbage bins. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice location, condo is nice but not the cleanest. The management and staff are horrible. They are RIP OFFS!! The rental agreement stated not to use the towels to wash make up from your face.....no problem. I brought tan-colored towels instead. After I’ve checked out at 11am he calls me at 4pm to tell me we’ve stained towels with make up, although the cleaners were there when we left. Why did it take 6 hours to reach me? I was still in Miami, my flight didn’t leave until 8:55pm. I tried to come back to the condo to meet with someone. He said no. Then he emailed me pictures of towels with black stains that look like someone cleaned the floor with them. THAT IS NOT MAKE UP. All in the effort to keep my $300 security deposit. I will NEVER stay here again nor recommend it. Thanks but no thanks.

This is a nice hotel, that has good ammenites and a great value. It was very nice that they had chairs available to bring to the beach and a washer and dryer. It had almost everything we needed and well run. My only complaints are that that they are skimpy on the toilet paper so we had to go out and buy a couple of rolls and the TV set was confusing with 3 differant remotes and never could get it to work. But a great value and would recommend it to anyone.

Great stay, clean and convenient condo hotel, super nice area, 2 blocks to the beach! They provide beach chairs and umbrella. Super nice place!

Amazing quiet place in south beach! If you have small children note that they leave cleaning supplies (dishwasher packs and laundry detergent) loose in cabnients. It was really wonderful!
