This guest house has no kitsch use for the guests, and no additional supplies such as towels and glasses to the guests. The restaurant attached to the guest house serviced poor food options. In this bad combination, this property should have some serious considerations to restructure its service model. Minimally, it should open the kitchen to the guests.

No Kitchen!

This properties images show a kitchen, don’t be fooled that kitchen belongs to the the restaurant and guests do not have access to. Kitchens in guest houses in Iceland are vital due to many travelers cooking each day to reduce cost of travel. We arrived only to find there is no kitchen and the restaurant being closed. We were told that we can go to the gas station for food! We even asked for a can opener to open up some tin cans but they couldn’t help us with that either. Room itself was nice and clean.

Too noisy, steep stairs, good breakfast

Had to wait till 4pm to check in even the room was ready. Room was too noisy with wind and from people walking on floor outside our room, hard to sleep, room was on upstair so not good for old people or people have problem with mobility, only seem to be good was breakfast. We won't be back if we were in this area again.

A bit expensive for a very small room

It’s a old house, despite the location it’s olds and you can hear the people from other rooms. It’s a bit expensive for what you get, but is clean.

A éviter ! Vraiment, à éviter !

Etablissement situé dans un recoin de la ville qui ressemble à un bidonville, chambre peu spacieuse qui sent le renfermé, confort très limité (salle de douche commune, toilette commune), hygiène douteuse (tapis en plastique pour sortir de la douche commune, poussières à faire d'urgence dans les chambres, insectes morts dans les carafes pour l'eau). Prises électriques à chercher, et quand vous les trouvez, elles se décrochent du mur. Le Wifi ne fonctionne pas, sauf peut-être pour les caméras de surveillance... A disposition, une seule serviette de bain, et des produits de toilette périmés depuis des années... Par contre, vous trouverez plein de panneaux vous indiquant que vous n'avez pas le droit de faire ceci ou cela sous peine de pénalité. Et si vous recherchez un contact avec l'habitant, je ne l'ai vu que de loin le matin à son réveil et cette vision me hante encore.
