Disgusting
It was unclear where building were located, the room was very worn with boarded up windows, broken floors, rusty worn doors and smelled. The “breakfast” was 2 blocks away and the room was the size of a small bathroom. The laundry facility was outside in an alley and the machines were disgusting. The last straw - a cockroach!!

They could train some of their staff to have a better approach when addressing a client issue. Rather than attacking the customer, when there is an issue with the electricity at the establishment, offer a resolution. The power turned off in the middle of the night.

Please disclose all fees.
The room I booked is not what I received. When I checked in their we additional fees on top of the fees I had to pay on property. I had called earlier in the day to verify what i would be paying and they said what was onnthe hotels.com invoice would be it. They did not say on top of the resort fees I would have a parking fee. I do not mind to pay it but they n3ed to be up front with it. I live in Orlando and Inunderstand resort fees and parking fees, they just need to be clear with it. The floor in the room was very dirty. We had to walk around with a towel otherwise your feet would be black from the dirt. It wasnt just sand, it was dirt. The breakfast buffet is only open from 8-9, and they actually quit accepting people at 8:50. I had booked this months ago for the Taylor Swift concert. The location is the only plus side to this. Very walkable to the boardwalk and good luck finding parking.

The refriegerator did not work in my unit and the television/cable/wi-fi went out/didnt work the last night of my stay. After bringing to sataffs attention, staff seemed annoyed and only offered me a late check out that i didnt use. I would be extremely reluctant to stay here again.

Loved that it was super close to the beach! Check in was pretty lengthy with staff moving slowly but otherwise not too complicated. The property we stayed in (they have several under the HBH umbrella) was a little run down but that pretty much what you expect with beachside motels. Liked that there was a full kitchen so we could cook if we wanted to. Be aware that their kitchen boxes are super basic with only two plates/cups/forks etc so you may have to supplement. Walmart is close by so not a huge deal to grab a few other essentials like extra settings and a knife and cutting board for under $10. The fridge in the room was broken but they replaced it quickly so it was a non issue for us. Really liked having the pool right outside our door and the beach a quick 2 minute walk away. For the price we paid it was perfectly acceptable and I would certainly stay there again.
