Hotel Vendaval
10/10 Excellent
"Clean and modern with a large king sized bed. Well located downtown and friendly front desk staff.
Only complaints would be that it takes a long time to get hot water in the shower, and the WiFi is only good during the day when most guests are out exploring the park (gets very bad from 5pm-10pm)."
"Rio Serrano Hotel is set in a truly stunning location—without doubt one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited, and this was country number 66 for me. The hotel itself was excellent: clean, comfortable, and supported by a team of genuinely helpful staff. The view from our room was simply breathtaking, and we were honestly devastated to leave after just four nights.
The on-site company, Massif, was fantastic. For first-time visitors, I highly recommend booking with them if you’d prefer not to organise your own activities. Their tours were well-run, informative, and a great way to experience the area.
We’re already planning our return—this place is too special not to visit again. "
"Wow, what a great little hotel. Amazing views from the room, a very comfortable bed, and great water pressure in the shower. The included breakfast was simple but exactly what we needed with very helpful staff.
My wife and I ran the Patagonia International Marathon and this was right next to the official race hotel so it was very convenient. Also, it was very close to shopping and plenty of restaurants. It was also a reasonable distance from the national park. We drove each day to Torres Del Paine and the drive was about 1.5 hours which wasn't bad. Even better the hotel had hiking poles for use to rent for 5000 CLP per day, which was great because they are required on some trails.
Overall, this was a great stay and we had a wonderful time."
