Great Choice on The Beach

Enjoyed our stay in Tel Aviv. The hotel is in a great spot on the beach. Easy to get anywhere. Breakfast was top quality. Best we had in all of Israel. Hotel flowers were exquisite. Best of all, the staff is excellent. 5star service every step of the way. Front desk, housekeeping, restaurant employees all fantastic, go out of their way to be sure all is well. The Bellboys are superb! BUT…what made our stay most enjoyable was the doorman, Hessel. A true gem to find these days. Above and beyond his duties, he is the best employee Ive ecountered at any Kempinski in the world. Well Done! Would stay here again anytime!

Pros: Location - top location Pool - Amazing Service - Excellent Parking- vey Good .Spacious Breakfast - very Good Cons: - Big problem for Dining options during Friday-Sat due to Shabbat. Kosher hotel. they only offered us to eat at our room..Most restaurants are closed on Shabbat and no where decent to eat. they offered some Jewish lunch for $85 per person and not appealing offer . So not good - Room is small and standard view not great. not worth the cost

Disapointing

A few weeks ago we stayed for the first time in this hotel and we had a great time, everything was amazing. So we went again for Yom Ha'atzmaut and maybe that's the reason why this stay was disappointing but we were very disappointed. The service was terrible. I don't have any other way to describe it. The breakfast was very poor, in the lounge, and the staff in full width, was very bad.

Le service est impeccable : chaque membre du personnel est attentionné, professionnel et souriant. Le petit-déjeuner est tout simplement fabuleux, avec un large choix de produits frais et raffinés. La piscine et le spa sont un vrai havre de détente après une journée en ville. Un endroit idéal pour profiter de Tel-Aviv dans une atmosphère chic et apaisante. Je recommande vivement !

Wij hebben een leuke tijd gehad, maar om heel eerlijk te zijn is dit hotel geen vijf sterren waard. Wij reizen over de hele wereld en slapen dan in vier of vijf sterren hotels. In mijn optiek moet je om een vijfsterrenhotel te mogen zijn je onderscheiden in de kleine dingen. Om enkele voorbeelden te geven. Het water van het zwembad was koud en dit omdat ze het alleen maar in het weekend verwarmen omdat er dan meer gasten zijn. Het zwembad is echter wel open en ook gedurende de week betaal je de volle pot. Zowel bij het ontbijt als in de lounge werden de schalen niet aangevuld als ze leeg of bijna leeg waren. Ook vond ik het personeel niet bepaald vriendelijk. Dat het inchecken niet vlekkeloos verliep heb ik al aangegeven in een eerder bericht. Daar heeft het totaal heel goed op gereageerd en mij werd een gratis massage aangeboden. De spa, is in tegenstelling tot de hotel, zes sterren waard. De therapeut was uiterst vriendelijk en kundig. Ook op de kamer kregen we druiven bij aankomst, maar het bordje werd nooit aangevuld of weggehaald. al met al is het een heel mooi hotel maar overprijsd. Ik ben ter aller tijden bereid om hier met het hotel over in gesprek te gaan. Het is namelijk een heel mooi hotel en dit moet echt beter kunnen.

The David Kempinski hotel is by far the best of the new Tel Aviv hotels. It's a beautiful, modern building, featuring the unique architectural styling. Inside the spacious lobby, you'll find stone, marble, art, decorations. The air inside smells fantastic. Rooms are new, well constructed, outstanding shower systems, sink, bath, lots of room. If you choose a Sea View room, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views and gorgeous sunsets. We were staying in an Executive Suite and it was huge even for two people. We wanted to get a Sea View room, one grade down, at first, but then it became unavailable and we chose the Executive, which was a smart move. It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny. Breakfast buffets are abundant. You can also order eggs and a al carte, all included in the hotel room rate. Lunch has sushi the likes of which you can only find in Japan or top-level restaurants. Evening dining is worth a Michelin star. The food is fantastic tasting. Also, lots of amazing restaurants in the local area. And the beach, it's just gorgeous. Next time - only David Kempinsky in Tel Aviv.
