The hotel is located right next to Hammersmith underground station. A "quieter" area with several shops and restaurants, close to the Thames.
We had a superior room which is protected with high security by requiring an access card to enter the superior room area.
All the girls at the reception were very pleasant and service-minded.
The windows faced the street, but were double glazed and soundproofed.
The bed was good, the room was spacious for a hotel room in London. The bathroom was bright and the shower was very good without the water running out onto the floor, which often happens in hotel rooms. The only negative was the carpet on the floor, which seemed worn, and white spots on the armchair.
We had breakfast included and the breakfast room was very inviting and nice,
but were disappointed with the breakfast selection.
There was an extensive offer of hot food, as well as toast and jam, but no offer of cheese and cold cuts, or vegetables/fruit for those of us who are not too power carb or sweet for breakfast. Yoghurt and cereal saved the breakfast for me, as well as good coffee from a vending machine.
Unfortunately, the staff in the breakfast room detract from the overall impression. They do not greet guests with a smile and did not seem particularly accommodating upon arrival.
So a tip is that choosing this hotel is a very good choice, but skip the breakfast; you can get a better one according to your own preference elsewhere.
