Amazing stay in Hakone
Fujiya hotel was fantastic. Unlike other modern concrete buildings, this hotel is a wonderful historic structure, and with the renovation and earthquake-resistance work carried out in 2020, there were no safety issues, so we were able to spend a wonderful time there.

The room itself was spacious and the decor in keeping with the Classical design of the hotel. I particularly enjoyed the onsen and the western breakfast (best breakfast of our trip). It is a historic hotel so expect the look to be a little dated, however, that is what adds charm to it. Overall a comfortable hotel, bathroom not so great (review is for FORESTWING TWIN FOREST SIDE). French restaurant is very nice for dinner as well as breakfast, it feels a little formal but a nice experience. Hotel garden is nice, staff is very helpful.

Historical property in stunning settings, Staff is kind and very helpful Miss Park we loved your kindness.Beautiful property grounds ,excelent food choices.The bed and pillows were so comfortable i slept my best in the last 10 years . I bought their pillows and taking them back to California ,then ordering the mattress from home. We will return to stay at least a week next time. Thank you for making our trip very special.
