Resort looks nice with good views, but far from 5-star. Stayed a week with family/friends and too many issues made it not worth the cost.
Major Issues:
• Cold showers for 2 days
• Over $2,000 USD missing
• Staff entered room without permission
• Calls 3–4 times daily despite repeated requests, plus knocks with “Do Not Disturb” posted
• Drinks seemed watered down
• No late-night entertainment or dancing
• Leftover food sat for 2 days
• Belongings tampered with, management did nothing
• Birthday girl lost the most and was offered nothing
• Inconsistent food, some off (fish) and several in our group got sick
• Spa prices 3x U.S. rates
• Gym closed often or reeked of chemicals
• Check-in delays up to 4 hours
• Bugs/lizards in rooms, patios unusable at night
• Groups of unsupervised teens hanging around maybe from Hilton
Pros:
• Adults only, no kids
• Some staff kind and attentive
• Some meals good; breakfast decent
• Hibachi/sushi and fire show entertaining
• Gym had good equipment when open
• Café service nice
• Outside the resort, pop-up spa toward Hilton was excellent ($60/hr Swedish/Thai massage)
• A few activities (art, swim dance) were fun
I’ve worked 10 years in hotel/casino/restaurant service and know how recovery should look. Here, there was no accountability or effort to make things right.
Basically Pretty setting, but serious issues outweighed the positives. Not worth it for the price.
