It is what it is
Hard to review this place as I didn't really enjoy my stay but it is a 1 star hotel and you get what you pay for . Only big issues are the pillow and mattress are rather uncomfortable the shower is only open and specific time after that you need to use the shared bath and what ended up happening was people would lock the door as there's only 1 shower and I imagine they'd like some privacy and I ended up having to slip my shower as I was behind a couple people waited at least an hour plus the room is absolutely freezing I'd strongly advise to spend just a tad more unless you are really strapped for cash.

Last resort? Sure.
I'll grant I'm coming from a western perspective. There's only one bathing area for the whole place (men & women) and it's a common area (not even a shower curtain). I don't know if I got unlucky, but I was put into a smoking room. The toilet for my floor was tiny (no room to even pull down your pants in the stall), so I would use the toilet on the ground level. For the same price there are better places on the same block that have private showers and regular size bathrooms.

The hotel serves night dress to guests.
The hotel is so cheap and nice. Also, it's located at the place near to the station.

You pay for what you get
Not gonna lie, I knew this was t gonna be an amazing place going in to it, and I tried my best to pack accordingly, but seeing it in person, wow... Like, I’d probably stay there again if I really needed a cheap place and I was in the area, but I wouldn’t recommend this place to a friend. When they said they’d have to give me a smoking room I figured it’s be okay, but I ended up buying air freshener because the smell of the room was absolutely thick with smoke. Also, on a complete side note, I legit was worried I was gonna get haunted by something. Anyways though, it was a good crash pad, and though I wouldn’t go out of my way to suggest it I wouldn’t not go back ya know? If paper thin walls will keep you up at night by the way, don’t even bother going there haha

You get what you pay for
This is a very nice place because it's in japan. If it were in America I would describe it as a "murder hotel", so even though it is a nice safe place you may not FEEL like it if you're carrying american cultural baggage like me. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and even offered me an umbrella the day it was raining, and check-in and check-out were both super easy and instantaneous. That said you get what you pay for. A tiny box of a room, broken window shades and handles in said room, and shared toilet facilities, which if you're fine with are perfectly fine. Everything was quite clean for what it was. This was my first time staying in a hostel-type situation so I'm glad it was such a nice one but I wouldn't do it again, mostly because my own hangups made the shared bath facilities impossible to use.

Good value but no blinds on the windows
Overall value was good but the only bad thing i would say about this place is that there is no blinds. I literally had to sleep in a bright room every night.

Good place to rest your head
If you are looking for a place to rest for the night then be out in the day then is hotel is just right. I took the Japanese room, its just right for 1 futon. Its old but clean so if you don't mind its actually great to stay for backpackers. The reception is friendly and helpful, knows a little English.

It's fine
A no-frills, really cheap stay. Think of it more like a large capsule with privacy. Just a fan to keep you cool. Group bathing was a bit different and men can shower from 5-9, women 9-10 each evening. Across the street from Osaka zoo and Shinsekai, but also 2 minutes from the pink light district.

Great location and comfortable room
The location is very convenient, and the price is really cheap. The room condition is better than I think. The room is Japanese style, which means you need to sleep on the tatami, but it is comfortable and I can sleep well on it. The room is not noisy. Also, I did not meet any strange guest in the hotel. It would be a good choice with you do not have much budget.
