We did not stay after checking in and being shown the room. The hotel lobby was dark and looks different from the online photos. I checked in and was walked to my room to make sure the key worked. Well, it took three men to be able to even get into the room. I was told the front desk could let us in when we needed to get into the room, which was ridiculous. It was obvious the door handle and locking mechanism was not working properly. Got into the room and it smelled awful, was dirty, the pillows smelled like dirty hair, the desk chair should be in the trash, the screen was off, and the paint was peeling. Laundry room out of order and so many comments about the lack of hot water (for weeks!). How are they washing linens?? Exterior doors unmonitored in back and unlocked until midnight - absolutely not. I went to the desk to say this was not as advertised and I expected a cancellation with full refund. We went down the road to another hotel because there was no way we could stay here. Was told no because I booked through here. Hotels.com was helpful and tried to contact them for a refund to no avail. I finally got success with my credit card company after over a month of this. I learned later they have black mold (maybe that’s why our room smelled). The major issue I have is this appears to be the hotel owners MO from all the comments - get the bookings, get the money, and refuse refunds. Do not book here!
