Unfortunately, my experience was far below acceptable standards, and I feel compelled to bring several serious issues to your attention.
• Room Conditions: Upon arrival, my room smelled strongly of mold and was excessively humid. A humidifier had been placed in the room, presumably due to malfunctioning air conditioning units. The humidifier filled up within a few hours, yet housekeeping failed to empty it—even on the rare occasions they cleaned the room. Housekeeping appeared to operate on their own schedule, not in response to guest requests.
• Cleanliness and Pest Issues: I found dead water bugs near the couch, and live ones entered the room through a large gap under the door from the hallway. This is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about sanitation and pest control.
• Breakfast Service: Breakfast was only served three times during the week, and consisted solely of breakfast sandwiches. While the food was passable, the inconsistency of service was disappointing.
• Front Desk Staff: One front desk employee, identifiable by her facial piercings, appeared to be under the influence and was frequently asleep or absent from her post. Guests were left waiting in line, and she only responded after multiple rings from the hotel phone.
• General Maintenance: The room itself was in poor condition, with rusted fixtures and furnishings that clearly need replacement. The overall state of the hotel suggests a lack of upkeep and investment in basic guest comfort.
