Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City is the capital city of its namesake state and is famous for its cowboy culture, functioning oil wells, national memorials, family excitement and adventure. The Science Museum of Oklahoma features many interactive exhibits and planetarium shows that are sure to thrill kids and grownups. At the same time, the Oklahoma City Zoo offers shows, attractions and exotic animal exhibits. At the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, visitors will take a walk into the past with more than 28,000 artefacts from the Old West, including Native American art.

Frontier City offers roller coasters, rides, games and fun for the whole family in a Western-themed amusement park. The Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum honours the memories of those who died in the 1996 bombing. For quirkier attractions, the American Banjo Museum includes hundreds of banjos and a look at this instrument’s history. The Oklahoma Railway Museum showcases seasonal trips on restored historic diesel and steam trains and a museum to explore and board various cars.
