Stewed here for one night. Close to Rheinenegy stadion which was perfect to watch Pink! No Ned for trams which were packed before and after!

Quiet, clean, with parking, near metro stop
We stayed over NYE and it was quiet and clean. There’s no coffee pot or conditioner, but it’s got soap, towels, a bed, and is quiet, so it’s really what we needed. The people are nice and I’d stay again since it’s conveniently located 1/2 block from a metro stop. Parking was €19/day with in/out under the building- be sure you tell the desk so they can set up your parking ticket correctly for the in/out part.

Nice hotel in the area of the Neustad (by U-Bahn).
The hotel bar is closed, so nothing to do in the evening, At Hotels.com it says it's open, but it isn't.
Also parking is not € 25 a day but an expensive € 28 for a day.
Room was OK, but the other things dissapointing.

Highly recommend for anyone who has a loved one staying at the ATOS Orthoparc Klinik. Essential by Dorint Köln is a 7 minute WALK to the hospital. This made daily visits possible as the commute from where we live would be an hour each way. The staff were friendly and helpful (provided a loaner power strip when we realized one was needed to charge the laptop). The rooms were comfortable, business style, with a good wall mounted TV. The hotel has a restaurant with tasty meals, has on-site parking, AND is dog-friendly!

Die Bettdecke hatte einen Blutfleck. Als ich die Rezeption darauf angesprochen habe, zeigte man wenig Interesse. Der Mitarbeiter schien zu denken, dass es nicht so schlimm sei, da ja zwei Decken vorhanden seien. Dies ist nur eines von vielen Problemen.
Das Bezahlen des Parktickets ist nur an der Rezeption möglich, wenn eine Kostenübernahmeerklärung der Firma vorliegt. Als ich darauf hinwies, dass ich das Zimmer privat gebucht habe, kam wiederholt die Antwort, dass es nur mit einer Kostenübernahmeerklärung der Firma möglich sei. Das bedeutet: Wer privat bucht, kann das Parkticket an der Rezeption nur mit einer solchen Erklärung bezahlen.
Der Herr an der Rezeption wirkte fehl am Platz und schien nicht zu wissen, wovon er sprach.
Das Hotel ist nicht zu empfehlen, und man sollte einen großen Bogen darum machen!

Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet. Allerdings ist das Gebäude in die Jahre gekommen, was man an mehreren Stellen – insbesondere in den Zimmern und Bädern – erkennen kann. Positiv hervorzuheben ist jedoch die durchgehend sehr gute Sauberkeit. Das Frühstück ist solide und entspricht guter Mittelklasse, von Dorint Hotels war ich allerdings schon ein etwas höheres Niveau gewohnt. Besonders lobenswert ist das sehr freundliche Personal.
