Once you get over the initial shock of going through the back courtyard and going to the 4th floor and having being demanded to pay city tax upfront in cash, the rooms were in good nick and breakfast was served lovingly every morning.

Wir haben die Unterkunft vor allem wegen der Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof gewählt. War ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, da Metro und Bahn direkt vor der Tür lag. Die Bahnhofsgegend ist nicht jedermanns Sache(Sauberkeit und Personen, die sich dort aufhalten) hat uns aber nicht gestört.Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig und sauber. Das Frühstück wurde im Zimmer serviert und konnte abends davor zusammengestellt werden. Die Damen, die das Frühstück servierten waren sehr freundlich. Auch die Dame am Empfang war zuvorkommend. Fazit: Für einen 4-tägigen Städtetrip vollkommen passend.

Stay at Naples Re Diego

Rooms are renovated completely. No cloth holders in bathroom. For family of 1 kid, we felt the size of room is too small to accommodate luggage. Breakfast is okay, not much option. Near to train station but very crowded at the entrance of building. 4th floor is the Re Diego.This is how it is near the Central in most of the cities.

Tough to find initially, but well worth it. The rooms are modern and efficient. Chosen the night before, breakfast is delivered to your room. There are ample choices and variety. The area is close to the train station and central piazza, with all that entails. Personally, I had no problems, but I'm sure they can found easily enough. There does seem to be a sufficient police and military presence. On the hand, super easy to get to Pompeii and other places on the rail network. The staff were friendly and helpful.
