Close to main station so perfect of an overnight. Elevator too small , lobby is in 4 the floor, the entrance is shared by multiple small hotels then with elevator is sperated. Staff nice. It they leave overnight , seems like an Airbnb. Inside room very clean and renovated. It's the downtown of Naples.

Whilst we struggled to find the enterance originally, once we did find out we needed to go to floor 4 we had to use the rather old and small lift and couldn’t all fit in. Two trips later we were in the B&B reception. Staff were super friendly and explained we had to order breakfast the night before and it would be delivered to our room the next day. Good options of the breakfast menu. The room itself was spacious, clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a nights stay.

Nice and newly’ish renovated apartment hotel near the train station in downtown Napoli. Pretty room, minus one lacking mirror in bathroom, hole in the wall, partly broken bed. The area around the hotel feels unsafe, with drug addicts, smells of piss etc despite lots of police presence (for a reason)

Go for it

Once you get over the initial shock of going through the back courtyard and going to the 4th floor and having being demanded to pay city tax upfront in cash, the rooms were in good nick and breakfast was served lovingly every morning.

The hotel is located on the fourth floor of an oldbuilding. but the hotel rooms have been renovated and they look very modern. Complimentary breakfast is served in the room which was a perk. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The stay at Re Diego was great the property was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The hotel was very convenient for boarding trains since it's located across from the central train station. The streets outside of the hotel are dirty, but this not the hotel this is the city.

Stay at Naples Re Diego

Rooms are renovated completely. No cloth holders in bathroom. For family of 1 kid, we felt the size of room is too small to accommodate luggage. Breakfast is okay, not much option. Near to train station but very crowded at the entrance of building. 4th floor is the Re Diego.This is how it is near the Central in most of the cities.

While the rooms themselves are clean and comfortable, the property itself was old, rundown, and the elevator was not working. We arrived late at night in what was a very gritty neighborhood and had to let ourselves into a very sketchy courtyard and then climb 4 flights of stairs with our luggage. Not a great impression of Naples.

Fantastic

Very nice place close to train station. Large spacius room with French balcony to feel and follow city life. Breakfast by order brought to your room every day. Friendly staff. Walking distance to city life and attraction. Love to stay here again.

The entrance to the hotel was a little difficult to find, you enter a courtyard and walk to the elevator at the back and take to the 4th floor. Building staff at entrance showed us where location was but then yelled/translated to us about how we should be able to speak Italian otherwise we should not be visiting the country.
