An interesting hotel in a great setting

A great setting with lovely views, an outside seating area and bijou interior. Most of the rooms looked lovely but we picked the wrong one - up on the 2nd floor with 2 very small single beds and a window which didn’t open on a hot night. Also - we were surprised to find that the parking was 200 yards up a hill in an isolated field, which should be made clear before booking.

Love this hotel, we've visited for years for food or drinks so was looking forward to spending my birthday here, especially following the lovely refurbishment. We miss the quirky old toilets but everything has been thought of for comfort. Service has been excellent and very friendly, and the food is lovely. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed for one night over NYE and had the most amazing time- had never been here before and it was so lovely! Staff were great and attended to everything we needed. Food was great quality and nice selection. Our room was amazing, the comfiest bed! And beautiful views out our window. Could not fault anything and would absolutely recommend.

Breathtaking stay!

Absolutely delighted with my stay at this beautiful hotel nestled in a stunning location. The surroundings were breathtaking, offering a tranquil escape. The attention to detail in the hotel's design and decor added to the overall charm. The culinary experience exceeded expectations; the food was not only delicious but also presented with artistic flair. The staff's hospitality was outstanding – warm, attentive, and always ready to assist. Their local knowledge and recommendations enhanced my exploration of the area. The seamless service truly contributed to a memorable and relaxing stay.

Most Loved Stay ❤️

This was our most favourite hotel of our 2 week UK trip! From the amazing service at check-in, through dinners, breakfasts and room servicing (fresh towels, tea and Welsh Cakes), we felt so very taken care of here. If I could give 10 stars I would! The hotel was beautiful, the atmosphere was so relaxing, and the location is perfect! We really enjoyed the #TAKEMEWITHEWE sheep. We have posted pictures on social media and I hope people enjoy them as much as we enjoyed participating in this fun activity. Thank you to evryone at the Hafod Arms! We will definitely be back! And hopefully for longer!

8/10 Very good

We stayed for one night, lovely hotel and surroundings and staff friendly. My only negative was that I informed staff that our room did not have a remote control and they said they did not have a replacement so we could not watch tv. I later overheard in the restaurant another guest talking with staff about their tv not working and they got this replaced straight away. They seemed to know the staff member so maybe this was why they were treated differently.

Lovely short break

We made a fairly last-minute booking to stay at the Hafod Hotel. The reviews were generally good, and we were looking forward to finding out for ourselves. The location is perfectly placed next to Devil’s Bridge. We had a valley-view king room, which had a beautiful view both day and night. There’s loads of parking; however, there is a short walk from there to the hotel. The room is high quality and includes everything you need for a comfortable stay. We booked on a bed, breakfast, and dinner basis, and we weren’t disappointed. There are plenty of options for the meals and the food was very tasty. The staff are friendly and well-turned out. A special mention for Charlotte, who looked after us in the evening; nothing was too much trouble, and she was charming and humorous. We’d highly recommend the hotel, and we will definitely be back.

Stunning

A fantastic hotel in a stunning location. The rooms were modern with ye-oldie charm. The food was delicious. The bar closed early and the road a bit noisy, but this was ok after my night nurse and vodka! Get the train to Aberystwyth if you really must go there.

Very nice hotel right by Devils Bridge. Very friendly staff, good food options and comfortable rooms. Lots of parking space, although it is 100yds up the road.
