Nice stay.
It was a nice space and the staff was very sweet. I do feel the stairs should be strongly mentioned in their story. No way my parents could have stayed there and we would have had to cancel and lost money. It was a very difficult climb.

It‘s a very well located hotel in a charming building right on the canal. The room was clean & lovely, big enough for a short stay. I enjoyed that restaurants, cafes & shops were in walking distance. You need to be aware that there’s no elevator and the stairs are quite steep and narrow, which wasn’t an issue for us however. Only thing I can criticize was that the bathroom had no heating, so it was freezing cold in there.

Everything was excellent from our arrival to our departure. The hotel really gave us an opportunity to embrace the culture of what living on a canal in a home that was built in the 1600’s with the modern amenities. It was comfortable and safe, and central to most areas we wanted to see.

Excellent location on the canal in lovely part of town. Historic old building which meant extremely narrow winding steep staircase with no lift to 3rd floor room. Really small double room. En-suite so small with only hand washing sink. Reception only open until 6pm. Really friendly staff. So mixed bag but we enjoyed our stay.
