Was really close to the arena, staff were friendly!

Highly recommended

Fantastic and very helpful host. Great room and wonderful garden. About a 30 minute walk from the airport and a 20 minute walk from the NEC. The only thing missing was an included breakfast. The WiFi is very slow - streamed did sometimes buffer and not really any restaurants or anything near by and it wasn’t possible to order in without an English mobile number, but the host was very helpful and friendly. This obviously is not the host’s fault, but a food option or a local number would be very helpful. But all in all a great stay and highly recommended. Again the host was fantastic!

The owners were nice. Explained what we needed to know. The room was nice and private. All in all, pretty good.

Clean but not without issues.

The property was clean but the bathroom door didn't close properly as it was swollen. I managed to shut it but then couldn't open it again, thankfully my daughter pushed it from the outside to let me out! The toilet cistern also kept filling and wouldnt stop, we'd to wedge the ballcock so we could sleep.

Failed to warn me that the roads were closed so diversion was extremely long. Hot water did not come through (it was 06:30), so I left without a shower or shave.

Walking distance from World Resort Arena and Birmingham International train station. Super convinient if yiu are attending a concert or event nerby. Price is extremely low considering for the area. Ower is super nice and had no problem reaching him to sort out payment issue. Highly recommend 👌

The pictures on the Expedia don't do justice to the place. Each room is a very lovely cabin in a very peaceful area. It's 5 minutes walk to the Birmingham Arena, so if you need a place to stay after a gig, that's definitely the best solution. The business owner is also very kind and he will also give you all the information you need to move around the area.

2/10 Poor

Not value for money

Not impressed. Nowhere to hang coats or clothing as no wardrobes or coat hooks at all, hardly any space to put your belongings, door to bathroom would not close, toilet kept running after flushing which needed constant resetting, radiator was cold as not turned up before we arrived, host didn't explain anything about the WiFi i.e. the code or password, no mention about tea facilities or that there was even a microwave available when I viewed the place on line. There were no leaflets about the local area in the way of restaurants or other eating establishments, nowhwere to place your washing gel and shampoo bottles in the shower cubicle which for me was too small. Coulld barely move to wash. Too little for the money I paid. Only one good thing was that the mattresses were comfortable.

Loved our stay, very close to NEC. Owner's were new to the business, they made us very welcome and was eager to please. New owner's are in the process of updating/improving an already great B & B. Qould definitely recommend.

2/10 Poor

Ended up sleeping in the car, not good!

Arrived at the “hotel’ which looks like a very impressive building but on checking in was to find that the rooms are small shallots which look like summer houses in the garden. The room was small but comfortable with a small en-suite. The tv reception eas very poor from the indoor aerial and most of the power in the room was supplied from a 4 plug extension cord from a damaged plug, plugged into a single socket in the wall. In the evening, it was clear that the walls were very thin as I could clearly hear the guests next door. After a long day I went to sleep - unfortunately I have a tendency to snore a little which was obviously heard by the guests next door, who hammered on the wall to make a noise that woke me up and resonated around the entire room like it was a cave. This continued to happen three or four times until at around 01:30 when I got up (partly out of frustration of being woken up every time I went to sleep and party out of fear as it sounded like the people next door we’re about to come through the wall) to find that the electric sockets no longer worked so could not boil the kettle. I the left the room and went to sleep in my car. The next morning I checked out but refused to give me any refund claiming that it would need to be done through Hotels.com - even though I paid at the hotel not online.

Speedy check in, friendly staff. The new owners had only had the property for 6 weeks so quite new to the business and expect to update and make improvements to the cabin accommodation. We did not use the microwave or fridge but a useful addition to the room. Comfortable bed, clean, and the room adequate for our overnight stay. Excellent breakfast., freshly cooked and a large portion. Would visit again

I was a little surprised to see this venue. The house is a private residence. The staff were polite and welcoming and the room was clean. The room in which we stayed however was part of a converted double garage with a number of other ‘chalets’ in the garden. There were double glass doors leading directly into the room opposite which was the ‘office’ and the pathway leading to the car park area. I felt like a fish in a glass bowl. Short of drawing the curtains and turning on the light there was no choice or privacy. Breakfast was preordered by request of the owners - Sadly there was only sliced white bread . No pastries, croissant, rolls or brown bread at all. The cooked breakfast was fine.

Property in need of TLC and is probably ongoing as it is under new ownership. Close to airport, station and NEC. Service was very good, everyone was pleasant and willing to help.

We were welcomed by some lovely friendly owners who had taken over just 3 weeks ago! Although the property is In need of a little tlc pally and his family are getting things in place. Will definitely be returning. Breakfast was beautiful, although continental breakfast was very basic. Could do with having maybe a yogurt or some fruit and some fresh crusty bread. Otherwise was lovely x

Being honest the only thing going for this property at the moment is it being close to the NEC. . Good breakfast, lovely owner, who is moving out anytime soon . But the cleanliness is the worst i have ever stayed in . I am really sorry to have to post this,
