Parking and location are great, but the room was disgustingly dirty when we arrived (hair in the shower drain, mildew in the shower, dirty and ripped sheets). We requested clean sheets and a thorough cleaning to the room but only got the sheets. Staff was not at all helpful. We will not be back.

I was very surprised at the lack of quality. We recently stayed in a hotel in northern PA that cost less than $40 and it was better than the room we had here. There was no microwave or blow dryer, although the holder for one was on the wall. Two of the drawers were broken. We were given TWO bath towels. No hand towels, no wash cloths and nothing to put on the floor for stepping out of the shower. I found hair all around the tub area and the, I can’t even say hot, water was JUST warm. Lastly, you had to be careful leaving their parking lot so that your car didn’t end up in the HUGE holes in their driveway. I picked Red Roof because many family members, including myself, have stayed in their inns in the past and were pleased. Do yourself a favor and spend an extra few dollars, and there’s not a big price difference, to stay someplace else, I know I will from now on.

Parking was awesome and the staff was friendly. The room itself was horrible, bed sheet had a cigarette burn and after pulling it off there was stuff between the mattress pad and the bed. Had a 3 night stay and happy I only stayed one and primarily used for parking. Definitely use the Red Roof by the airport in Pittsburgh. First and last stay.

Don't stay here, it is awful. I checked into a room for two nights and the bathroom sink was plugged up with cigarette ashes and smelled awful. Also the toilet seat was very loose, I couldn't sit on it. The tv remote did not work. I finally got it to work after many attempts, but then it would not turn off. The manager suggested I just unplug the tv!. I was able to meet the maid, who had cleaned the room earlier and she was aware of the plugged up sink and surprised that the manager put a guest in the room. These items were not fixed during my stay. Maids should have Drano on their carts and check tv remotes for weak batteries. The bed was ok, shower water was hot and ac worked ok. Rates are cheap, so don't expect anything good. Hot water and cups are provided in the morning for coffee, but any other food must be purchased at local stores. Location is on local bus route so it is easy to get around. I hope I never have to stay here again.

Check in went smooth and the lobby looked clean and inviting. Once we headed up to our room, we noticed the hall floors were very dirty. In our room, the mattresses were filthy, the bathroom door didn’t latch shut, the closet door didn’t latch shut and many of the drawers didn’t close properly. The room had an odor, especially the film over the mirror. The ac was also filthy.

Everything I needed

The initial room had no chair in it, but the receptionist at the desk changed my room, and I had no further issues. I had a good computer chair, a comfortable bed, and quiet air conditioning. Plenty of space to store clothes too. I was particularly happy about the bathroom. The shower was well lit, had a good shower head, and the water stayed a consistent temperature. I also got a quiet room, away from any noisy washing machines, but still close to the elevator. The hotel is 6 miles from downtown Pittsburgh, so it's cheap and quiet. All told, I was very pleased by the hotel.

When I checked in, the desk person said there was no tv even though the ad said the room had one. The bathroom mirror was broken in many places with shards of glass taped in place. The mirror itself was barely on the wall. The bed had what seemed to be blood stains next to the pillows and a different bodily fluid near the bottom of the bed. I checked out after twenty minutes and asked for a refund. He told me to reach out to hotels.com for that. I will say though that the man at the desk was kind and understanding and helpful.
