Suite had a great view of Piazza and minutes walk from Florence’s main museums and cathedrals. Comfortable bed and clean En suite bathroom. Having a bathtub was a bonus too. Continental breakfast with great pastries and good coffee too. Very courteous and helpful staff and good video directions right to the room, something not given by many hotels!

Hotel itself is good, albeit our room AC unit leaked the first night and we needed to call the hotel staff for a technician to fix it; it was taken care of the next day. The B&B Galileo 2000 is situated in a perfect position to explore Florence, all the must see sites are within walking distance, the room we had was the 'Romantic' room and was plenty big enough although there was no view from our window other than into another property, the room was cleaned daily to a high standard. Would recommend as an ideal place to stay as it's so conveniently situated.
