Le Riad est juste magnifique. Fidèle aux photos et je dirais même encore plus beau en vrai. Le personnel est adorable. Un grand merci à Mohamed, toujours prêt à vous aider, vous conseiller et à répondre à vos questions et même prêt à venir vous chercher dans les rues de Marrakech si vous êtes perdus. Merci également à Leïla. Si vous séjournez à l’hôtel, je vous conseille de goûter sa cuisine ! Plus particulièrement le tajine de légumes et le tajine de poulet et la salade marocaine. Le prix des repas est plus qu’abordable et vous aurez le ventre plein pour longtemps, promis ! L’hôtel est proche de la place Jema El Fnaa et des souks, des palais et du jardin Majorelle. Faisable à pied. Nous avons pris la chambre Deluxe et la chambre supérieure. Elles sont toutes 2 magnifiques. Nous ne sommes pas déçus. Nous reviendrons c’est sûr. Je vous le recommande.

Super riad avec excellente localisation

Très bon riad en plein milieu de la médina, dans une partie très sécurisée. Super petit déjeuner très copieux. Excellent accueil et aide sur place. Chambre parfaite mais température un peu fraîche la nuit ! Nous y retournons avec grand plaisir. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Et petit plus le jaccuzi sur la terrasse.

Excellent petit riad ou on se sent chez soi

Heaven in Marrakesh

How do I even start about how AMAZING our stay at Riad Elytis was. First, we were met by Mohammed when we arrived at Marrakesh and immediately you could tell his warmth and friendliness. We were immediately served with tea and snacks which were delicious followed by a tour of the Riad. He made sure to give us instructions, where to buy things, who to stay away from, etc. before we left the markets. Our first day, we tried to find places to eat only to find out later on that the food at the Riad is wayyyyyy better than anywhere else. Leya the cook is INCREDIBLE. Do NOT even think about eating anywhere else. They ask you what you want to eat and they will make what you want and will make appropriate recommendations if you are unsure. The place is beautiful and peaceful, however, Mohammed and Leya make this place extra special. They go above and beyond to make sure that your stay in Marrakesh is wonderful and safe. Mohammed even took my friend on his bike to find a place to watch the Barcelona game when he stated he was interested in watching the game. In addition, he also went to the markets to buy a tangine for my other friend when she said she really wanted to take one home. The sellers at the markets were selling the tangines to her for 500 dirhams and Mohammed got it for 50 dirhams. He really cared about us. I will never stay anywhere else when I go back. Thank you Mohammed and Leya, you both are incredible and just special people. See you soon!

A Hidden Gem

The Riad itself is superb. The beauty of the building combined with the service of Mr. Mohammed who looks after the guests made for an incredible stay. As others have mentioned, the Riad itself is difficult to find. I tried braving it on my own until Google Maps led me down too many alleys that did not have exits and I was forced to call the management to show me the way. The location is right next to the souks (on the outskirts) which is quite nice if you want to be in the heart of the action. My room was incredibly spacious (especially considering that I had one of the smallest rooms in the Riad), the service was unparalleled, and really I could not have asked for more.

Five Star Service!

Our stay at Riad Elytis was exceptional, mainly due to the outstanding service from Mohammed and his staff. Nothing was too much trouble, washing done for free, breakfast cooked early due to an early departure - he even walked us to the taxi rank at the end! Highly recommend this Riad for your travels in Marrakech.

Great location. Quiet.

Excellent position for exploring the medina. We had great service from Mohammed who went out of his way to of help. The rooms are comfortable and spacious and the water overflow problem in the shower mentioned by others is solved by lifting out the top of thr drain. Certainly recommended.

Welcoming, comfortable and within Old Medina

A fantastic stay at Riad Elytis. We are a family with 2 children aged 13 and 11. Mohammed was our host and could not have provided better service or been a better host. Lovely rooms, great breakfasts and expert advice from Mohammed made this a great place to stay.

Charming Riad in the heart of the Souks

This Riad is situated in the back alleys in the heart of the Medina and on the doorstep to the Souk and quite tricky to find for a novice traveller to Marrakech. On arrival the hotel manager came to fetch me from my taxi and guided me down the small alleyways to the Riad. Inside it has charming character and friendly staff. There is a roof terrace with great views of the city,

Convenient and representative riad in the medina.

The staff took great care of us. It was a small old, restored riad that was very representative of a past era. Much better than staying in a modern hotel.

Perfect Marrakech experience!

This was our first visit to Marrakech and we stayed for 5 nights at Riad Elytis. It was such a wonderful and unforgettable experience! The riad is very well located within the Medina and a short walking distance to the souks and main square. As it has only 4 guest rooms the riad was very tranquil and an oasis away from the busy streets. The rooms were extremely clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The rooftop has a Jacuzzi that you can use as you wish and plenty of space to enjoy the Moroccan sun. A lovely breakfast is included every day and it's lovely to choose to have this in the courtyard or roof terrace. There are onsite staff 24/7 - they are warm, helpful, accommodating and friendly and genuinely want to make your stay as special as possible. Mohammed will happily help you with any questions you may have and give you advice and tips about making the most of your stay in Marrakech. We requested to have dinner at the riad one night and Jamila cooked us an absolutely delicious feast which we enjoyed on the roof terrace, it was our most memorable meal of the trip! We would certainly recommend this riad to others, it is the perfect place for relaxing and enjoying Marrakech!

Recommended!

We stayed 3 nights and had a lovely time in the riad. The set up with the swimming pool in the in-yard and the jacuzzi on the roof terrace, the traditional decorations and the kindness of the staff made our stay perfect. We advise yo book the airport transfer directly with the riad as it might be difficult to find it by yourself in the medina of Marrakech.

Lovely stay after a pretty awful start

The room was comfortable, and Mohammed was the perfect host, but unfortunately our stay got off to a very bad start - despite arranging an airport transfer, when we got to the area that all the other transfers were being picked up from, Riad Elytis was nowhere to be seen. Definitely there was no one inside the airport except a policeman ushering arriving passengers onto the street. Called the hotel manager twice, but got no response. Took a taxi who dumped us in the middle of the city as you cannot take a taxi to the door (it's about a 100m walk from the nearest road), but then we had to hire a guide to take us to the actual door (after about 30 minutes of wandering around aimlessly at 11pm. GPS is essentially useless in the medina), resulting in an angry argument about payment. Aside from that, the staff at the hotel did their best to make us feel welcome and safe, and the mint tea on the terrace was fantastic. Recommended only if you are both an experienced traveller (though we are!) AND already really know your way around the medina!

Wonderful Riad

Riad Elytis was a really good choice, as it was reviewed earlier. The staff Mohamed and Jemila were great and so helpful, we felt to be taken care like a very personal guides and private staff. The Riad was well located with walking distance to all in Medina and had a beautiful roof terrace with Jacuzzi. Just a nice place to come back after a hustle and bustle day in Medina. A nice breakfast was great served by Mohamed every morning. We also tried a private Hammam which was nearby owner´s other Riad, a really nice experience. We also had one dinner in the Riad and it was marvelous, although more expensive as most of the restaurants in Medina. We would love to come back again.

Perfect little Riad in close proximity to centre

I would highly recommend this Riad to anyone looking to spend a few days in the center of Morocco's old town. The location was perfect. Close to all the action yet far enough down a side street to not hear a single outside noise while in the Riad. I cannot fault the staff in anyway. Mohammed especially was one of the nicest people I have ever met and constantly went out of his way to make sure that everything was perfect for us during our stay. Breakfast each morning was delicious and the terrace on which I spent most mornings and evening relaxing was beautiful. Not to mention there is a free to use Hot tub on the terrace which was a perfect way to relax every evening after a long day of exploring. This Riad really made our time in Marrakesh special.

Magnifique riad typique

Petit riad magnifique dans un quartier très calme pourtant très bien situé, proche du souk. L'accueil était très bon. Seul point négatif, le prix du diner. J'y retournerai !

Ottimo riad sia per la posizione, sia per la bellezza e la gentilezza del personale. Noi abbiamo soggiornato nella stanza di sotto, non ve la sconsiglio ma nemmeno consiglio, come stanza nulla da dire bella e confortevole ma un po buia.ottima la posizione del riad la sera, se nonvolete tornare dalle viuzze della Medina, potete prendere una strada che vi permette di arrivare diretti alla moschea. Per qualsiasi cosa chiedete pure al ragazzodel riad sempre pronto a aiutarvi...ottimo il massaggio che troverete all'interno del riad...ottima anvhe la colazione..l unica pecca forsela ragazza delle pulizie che nn capendo bene la lingua prova a gonfiare i prezzi delle cose..per il resto veramente ottimo riad
