Do not book this place

Hotels.com should be ashamed of adverusing this Metro hotel. It was filthy and other clean bedding it was like a prison
That's the window blind ripped and windowsill smashed

Will never stay here again

Very dirty, ripped blind, noisy. The toilets and showers are seperate to the room, very dirty, strong smell of urine.

Metro Inns Adventure

Due to my mistake when booking, we had not realized that all rooms weren't en-suite. This is aajor factor for us as my husband is disabled. The receptionist on duty 6/8/25 around 14:30, was so helpful and managed to get us sorted. The rooms were lovely and clean as were towels and bedding.

6/10 Good

Bedrooms were in poor condition not as expected. Reception staff very friendly. Shower rooms were good. Utensils missing from separate kitchen. Check out time too early.

Nice hotel and near to service area

6/10 Good

Hotel was cheap for a reason, very much like a homeless hostel. Nothing drastically wrong but not the most relaxing stay you will ever have. Our room had a shower cubical with a toilet in it and a sink , not sure how you would use the shower?
Frieda, 1-night trip

Nice and simple 👌

Slept like a log which was well needed, good facilities, shower was nice. Bed was comfy and the room was warm, couldnt ask for anything else

2/10 Poor

Awful place dreadful

This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in and what an embarrassment for hotels.com to list this hotel it’s totally disgusting so sold and so out of touch with what a hotel is about. I felt as if I was staying in a prison although you’d have more comfort in a prison than this place. The showers were awful the bedroom felt like a prison cell and no food or drinks awful spot it should be demolished
Glen, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

It was exactly what was expected. The only real "issue" is the bathroom had a frosted glass door and when you are with friends that's not really enough. Thankfully there are bathrooms outside of the room so it was fine
Sheldon, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very reasonable price , basic facilities, which we were expecting, friendly staff👍
Aidan, 3-night trip

2/10 Poor

Staff were pleasant but hotel & room appalling. Even for a budget hotel it was terrible. Toilet inside the shower cubicle, tiles broken, filthy dirty. Carpets looked like a murder had taken place. Needs to be closed down & start again. I was charged additional £10 on top of what id originally paid. Had no choice but to stay but thankfully only one night. Never again 😒

Very friendly and helpful

Very friendly and helpful staff, basic accommodation but in need of updating certain areas. Enjoyed the stay over all

6/10 Good

The building is getting old, the staff were great and the parking was great.
Frank, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

I never write reviews but I felt like I had to for this ‘hotel’…I could tell the owner is really making an effort to improve the hotel. After we complained he said he has been giving the rooms new paint and beds… but I don’t think anything could save this place. It needs to be knocked down to be honest. As soon as you walk in it STINKS of smoke and feels grotty. The carpet has stains and stuff all over it. We had gross stuff on the bed sheets. After complaining he said he would move us to another room but couldn’t give us a refund so we decided to just sleep in our sleeping bags on top of the beds. Very disappointing
Jasmin, 1-night trip

It was very cheap and good service

Budget price? You could do a hell of a lot worse

For the incredible price, I'd say this was an absolute win.
Jonathan, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

This hotel should be condemned

I’m not sure how this hotel can charge for the rooms they provide. I booked 5 rooms for a business trip and all of the rooms were equally as bad. Bathroom door didn’t close, rooms were barely big enough, tired and unclean. Beds uncomfortable to say the least one of the party even slept on top of the bedding in clothes as the bed was so bad. If I could rate it zero I would
