Bishop Museum highlights

One of the most impressive aspects of Bishop Museum is the architecture of the buildings themselves. They're crafted in the unique Richardsonian Romanesque style, which incorporates a revival of French, Spanish, and Italian styles from more than 1,000 years ago. With that in mind, you'll be impressed before you even step foot inside.

You'll find numerous categories of artifacts inside, but the archaeology section is particularly interesting. It contains samples from all across the Hawaiian Islands as well as more than 50 other islands throughout Oceania. This collection is split up between Hawaii and the rest of the Pacific Islands.
