In Valdosta to see my daughter starring in two musicals at the Peach State Summer Festival, at Valdosta University. My daughter and the shows were amazing! She stayed with us the two nights, and one day soon you’ll be able to say a future Broadway star slept there!
La Quinta proved to be a wonderful choice totally befitting the occasion. Room and bathroom spacious for 3, with comfortable beds and pillows, and a good, strong shower head. Clean, with plenty of lighting and outlets. Hotel staff friendly and helpful, from housekeeping to breakfast crew. Breakfast had a good range of choices, including the always wonderful and ubiquitous make your own waffle! We enjoyed some outdoor pool time, also—the outdoor pool was well maintained, clean, and private. Plenty of parking.
CONSTRUCTIVE SUGGESTION: Love that you’re eco-friendly re: not washing towels as often (unless requested). However, that means we need to hang the towels up. Therefore, I urge you to please put one or two towel bars in each bathroom to enable us to hang our bath towels to dry and reuse. The current hand towel bar and one hook are completely inadequate.
