In a nutshell:
- Location: excellent. Close to metro, good area.
- Air conditioning: excellent - strong.
- Price point: average - you can likely find a more impressive property within the same vicinity at a similar price point.
- Service: average with poor problem solving skills/attitude
- Property condition: at best average (e.g. ripped curtains, worn out chairs but had renovated bathrooms)
- Comfort: below average
We had some minor issues with the room that snowballed over the course of our visit. The shower would take a long time to heat up, the toilet flush was poor, bathroom door wouldn't close properly, noise would carry through in the morning before 9am by housekeeping, etc.
What left us with a bad impression was there was ultimately a disruptive problem with the toilet - it wouldn't flush and you could hear the water leaking very loudly. Long story short, we were led to believe it was being fixed but it wasn't, eventually learnt that it could not be fixed until the next day after waiting 2+ hours. Ultimately my husband and I had to proactively offer to change rooms even if it meant to be downgraded. The situation should have been managed with more professionalism, proactivity and a solution and less of a goofy nonchalant attitude by the night receptionist.
Anyway, probably just our bad luck with the room and service and when there aren't any problems that arise, the hotel is fine to stay at (for the right price point). I however would never stay here again.
