What a wonderful property. A very unique location that where the restaurant used to be a school house. The Janx suite was beyond our expectations. Large and spacious and with a piano and pool table to boot.
The bar was wonderful and the wait staff were very kind and gracious.
We would stay again.

A charming place to stay near Sandbanks
This 8-room inn is a hidden gem located halfway between Picton and Sandbanks Provincial Park. We stayed in the Barker Suite on the ground floor, a spacious room with a king bed, air conditioning, a mini-fridge and a well-appointed bathroom. The soundproofing isn’t perfect given the age of the building, but people were very quiet. Our host Natalie provided us with all the information we needed for a hassle-free self-check-in. And we loved our breakfast at the lovely on-site restaurant, the School House!

No hot water in shower
I came for a wedding so was very hectic 2 days. My only problem was that there was no hot water in the shower. It didn’t matter which way I turned the handle no hot water came out. I left it running in hopes that hot water would appear but it just shut itself down. For $788 for 2 nights I expected better.

Stayed here for a night with my partner.
We had a great time.
Beautiful, historic property with clean, comfy rooms with up-to-date amenities, and delightfully unique modern touches.
A cool mix of new and antique.
DEFINITELY stay for the delicious breakfast.
It is worth every penny.
Very quiet and serene location, we left our window open a crack overnight and were lulled to sleep by the sound of the rushing water.
As city slickers, it was a much-needed reset. We slept for like 11 hours and felt amazing in the morning.
