Well-Run and Extremely Cute Weekend Getaway!
We loved your stay at Evergreen Lodge! The lodge was really cute and had great amenities like a salt-water pool, a restaurant, a coffee shop, smores, and a gift shop. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, which gave the lodge a homey feeling. The rooms were very clean and well-insulated from noise. We really enjoyed the decor and furnishing choices they made for the rooms, such as no TVs, a fireplace, and board games. It made the lodge feel like such a homey and cozy getaway! We will definitely be coming back!

Unplug during the holidays.
Evergreen Lodge was a little piece of nature-inspired wilderness. We were upgraded upon check-in, and the staff was kind and friendly. There were definitely lots of holiday-related activities that my kid was able to participate in. We hope to make it back here with more family and friends in the future.

Cozy and comfortable with so many extras
Wonder family comfort and adventure! Fantastic staff, very hospitable, available and friendly. Our cabins were cozy and private. The rec room was the highlight. We played games and enjoyed à nice fire. This will become a family tradition.

Cool location, nice set up, cute cabins, dining option etc …but ip the cleaning game- the bottom of the shower and shower curtain were absolutely gross! I get it you collect the grey water for watering plants- but gross pink mold floating around your feet when showering kinda goes too far. Use a little bleach now and then! If I could have found some bleach in and around Yosemite - I was going to clean it for you

Cabin refresh needed.
We rented the vintage cabin and thought cabin could use some updates. Bed wasn’t a comfortable and bed linens were in need of a refresh. We also asked for complimentary room service but came back to an unmade bed and no fresh towels. Dining room was great! Service and food were excellent.

The biggest issue was how remote this place is. Guests are 100% reliant on what is offered at the resort. The lack of TV and the remoteness of the place would be the biggest contributors to my family not returning. The refrigerator in the room froze the fruit we brought with us and there was no microwave in the room so if you bought something from the General Store to eat, you had to cook it in the microwave in the store. I think the resort is good for people that are ok driving 40 miles to the nearest town and want to get away. For families like mine, it wasn’t ideal.
