The view is amazing. Make sure you get a Seaview room or better yet a Seaview junior suite with a jacuzzi. My fiance and I would watch the sunrise while enjoying our morning coffee in the jacuzzi. The pool area is nice, although the pool isn't heated so if it's not summer it may be chilly for some people. I didn't mind it though.
The food in the ala carte restaurants was overall fantastic other than a couple disappointing dishes.
The staff and service was really good. We had a few problems our first night that really worried us, but after talking to the management, they really made a huge effort to improve our experience and the rest of our stay was great.
Now for the bad part. The majority of the food in the main restaurant buffet is really bad. If you want good food, the buffet will upset you. For breakfast you're safe with fruit, yogurt, toast, and the omelette bar, but most of the other hot bar items are terrible. For the dinner buffet, you're safe with the salad bar items, but the hot bar items and most of the desserts were awful. I guess maybe that's a common thing with all inclusive resorts, they put effort into the ala carte food, but skimp on the quality of the buffet foods. The complimentary wine and beer is very poor quality. Also the drinks at the bars are mostly disappointing because instead of real juice for mixers, they uses syrup concentrates. If you want better quality drinks either buy a bottle of nicer wine from the restaurant or go into town.
